Tuesday
Regular Youth Drop-In
While we don’t have a specific program running on Tuesday nights, we do have weekly drop-in activities planned from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
Wednesday – Alternating Weeks
CanTEEN Cuisine
The CantTEEN Cuisine is a sign-up-based cooking program where youth master the basics in the kitchen and explore new recipes. The sign-up sheet is posted at the CanTEEN on the Monday before.
Cadogan Cafe
A group of youth joins our kitchen volunteers to cook hot meals for the CanTEEN, which are sold to our youth for $2 each. Cadogan Cafe helpers will learn skills such as food handling, serving, and money handling, and will gain experience to add to their resumes.
These youth will also support food prep for the rest of the week. We are looking for 4 youth to commit to it long-term every second Wednesday! Speak to you Club Coordinator if you’re interested!
Thursday
Gemstones
Gemstones is a universal 2SLGBTQ+ program for all youth ages 12 and up. It examines current 2SLGBTQ+ issues and ways to support youth interests and skill sets in a confidential safe space. This program is a safe and inclusive place for youth to gather, support each other, learn allyship, connect, and build positive peer relationships.
Schedule: Thursdays 6:00pm-9pm at the CanTeen Youth Hub, starting September 11.
Note: No registration needed; just show up!
Friday
Weekly Smudge
We end the week with a smudge and an overview of Canada’s Calls to Action. Our work as an organization towards Truth and Reconciliation continues.
CanTEEN Youth Night
Sherwood Park: Join us on Fridays for our weekly CanTEEN Youth Night from 6:00 – 8:00 pm! Check out all the cool activities we have going on Fridays by clicking on the monthly calendar!

We have desktop computers to use, printers for resume and assignment printing, and more! We are proudly partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Strathcona County to provide homework help and tutoring in this space.
Learn On – Every weekday
Learn On is an academic support program for youth aged 13 – 21. Learn On aims to bridge systemic inequities in educational attainment, enhance academic opportunities for youth, and support youth as they enter adulthood by providing academic and social supports!
