The CanTeen Youth Hub
The CanTeen Youth Hub is a safe and positive place for youth to come to after school. Come hang out with your friends, play some games, get help with homework, meet new people and take part in our awesome programs we have to offer!
Youth Summer Programs
Location: 3 Spruce Avenue, Sherwood Park
Hours: FREE drop-in Monday-Friday 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., with special activities running from 12 – 4 p.m. daily.
Every Monday, there will be a sign-up for Friday field trips!
Grade 7 (in the fall) and up

DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR
Grade 6 Students
Hours: 3 pm-6 pm
Fees: $215/month
Membership: Must be a current registered Club member or can register as a new one.
Youth Drop-in (Grade 7+)
School Year Hours: 11 am-8 pm
Fees: No charge

Emergency Contact Form
All youth who attend the CanTeen Youth Hub will be given an emergency contact form to take home. You can also fill it out and send it with them!

Interested in renting the CanTeen Youth Hub space for a specific event, party, or meeting? Weekends are available for bookings upon inquiry and approval.

CanTEEN Youth on PopWhiz!
CanTEEN Youth competed on a travelling teen game show called PopWhiz! It was filmed at West Edmonton Mall and aired in April 2025. This was an incredible opportunity and a unique experience for our youth, and a whole lot of fun. Check it out!
Proud partner of the Strathcona County Family Resource Network
BGC Strathcona is a proud partner of Strathcona County’s Family Resource Network (FRN). The local FRN is a partnership between the County’s Family and Community Services, BGC Strathcona, Strathcona County, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Strathcona County. The FRN provides programs and services for families with children and youth ages 0-18 years that focus on well-being and resiliency, including:
- Programs to support healthy child development
- Reliable parenting information
- Connection to other local resources
