ReWild Your Child
Information
At ReWild, children aged 4-6 are encouraged to take the lead in their activities. Our dedicated facilitators support unique interests and guide a diverse range of experiences through each season. Whether it’s observing insects in the grass, creating nature-inspired art, or embarking on imaginative outdoor storytelling, every day is an opportunity for exploration and growth.
The natural environment becomes a rich tapestry for whole child development. As children climb, jump, crawl and balance on natural elements, they develop physical strength, coordination, and spatial awareness. Social skills blossom as they collaborate on building projects or engage in group activities under the open sky. The sensory-rich outdoor setting enhances cognitive development, the ever-changing weather and seasons provide endless opportunities for learning and adaptation all while fostering a connection with the land.
Session Details
ReWild runs September until June from 9am until 2pm. Parents and caregivers are responsible for drop off and pick up at either 3 Spruce Ave or Centennial Park. Transportation and before/after care are not provided. Programs take place on either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, which makes it an excellent option for alternating with kindergarten schedules.
Registrations are welcome throughout the year, if spaces are available.
The cost is $250 per month and is eligible for the Government of Alberta Child Care Subsidy Program.
Although we much prefer being outdoors, when the temperature is colder than – 21 degrees including wind chill or the air quality is poor, we bring our adventures indoors at the 3 Spruce Ave location.
Children must be able to toilet independently without support.
