Club Coordinator

Work Hours: 10:30 AM – 6 PM, Monday to Friday.

This position is eligible for Wage Top-Up for Early Childhood Educators (ECEs).

Job Description:

Reporting to the Children’s Program Director, this position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in their entirety of one satellite program location.

This position will also be responsible for the direct implementation of all Out-of-School Care programs, initiatives, directives and licensing requirements as directed by the organization.

The Club Coordinator is responsible ensuring the correct filling, supervision, facilitation, and staffing of a program location. A Club Coordinator represents BGC and will do their utmost to develop and maintain a positive relationship with any co-workers, school partners, parents, community partners, and community members associated with the organization in any capacity. Club Coordinators will always represent BGC Strathcona County and its interests as an essential part of the leadership within the organization.

Programming Staff

Work Hours: Afternoon and/or morning shifts, Monday – Friday, based on availability.

This position is eligible for Wage Top-Up for Early Childhood Educators (ECEs).

Job Description:

Reporting to a location a selected Coordinator, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day facilitation and successful programming of all BGC programs. This position will also be responsible for the direct implementation and facilitation of all identified programs, BGC directives, and support in assurance of meeting all licensing requirements as directed by the organization. A Program Staff represents BGC and will do their utmost to develop and maintain a positive relationship with any school partners, parents, community partners, and community members associated with the organization in any capacity. Program Staff will always represent BGC and its interests as an essential part of the programming team within the organization.

Children's Program Staff

Work Hours: There are Permanent or Casual Part Time positions available. 10-35 hours/week

Closing Date: This position is currently OPEN.

This position is eligible for Wage Top-Up for Early Childhood Educators (ECEs).

Some of the requirements for a successful candidate include:

  • energetic attitude with ability to play and work with children ages K-6
  • positive mindset and the ability to positively impact or role model to children
  • interest in working with children as a long term career goal is an asset but not required
  • can work with a team, be flexible within a changing environment and demonstrate creativity with good communication skills.
