Club Coordinator
Work Hours: There are 35 hours available for this position. AT THIS TIME, THIS IS A TEMPORARY CONTRACT POSITION.
Closing Date: This position is currently OPEN.
Some of the requirements for a successful candidate include:
- This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of one satellite program location.
- This position will also be responsible for the direct implementation of all OSC programs, BGC directives and licensing requirements as directed by the organization.
- The Club Coordinator is responsible ensuring the correct filling, supervising, and staffing their program locations.
- A Club Coordinator represents BGC and will do their utmost to develop and maintain a positive relationship with any co- workers, school partners, parents, community partners, and community members associated with the organization in any capacity.

Club Regional Manager
Work Hours: There are 35 hours available for this position. AT THIS TIME, THIS IS A TEMPORARY CONTRACT POSITION.

Some of the requirements for a successful candidate include:
- Reporting to the Director of Children’s Programs, the Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall success of BGC Strathcona County’s program location.
- This leadership role ensures the effective implementation of all programs, initiatives, and organizational directives while maintaining strict adherence to licensing and regulatory requirements.
- The Regional Manager collaborates closely with the Director of Children’s Programs and Club Coordinators to ensure proper training, staffing, and delivery of high-quality, engaging programs that align with BGC Strathcona County’s mission and values. As an emerging leadership role within our organization, we are eager to build the Regional Manager position into our broad continuum of staffing roles, strengthening our leadership capacity, and supporting future growth.
- This position fosters a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for children, youth, families, staff, and community partners.
- As a key representative of BGC Strathcona County, the Regional Manager builds and maintains strong relationships with co-workers, school personnel, leasing partners, parents, and the broader community. Club Bookkeeper Administrator
Work Hours: There are 16 – 24 hours per week available for this position.

Some of the requirements for a successful candidate include:
- To provide leadership of financial management at BGC Strathcona County leadership
- To be an active and integral member of the Team
- Responsible for maintaining the accounting software, systems databases, and invoicing software and the general oversight of financial computer networking systems.
- Assist the Executive Directors in developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s policies, protocols, procedures, and other general administrative duties.
- Responsible for the effective operation of the accounting systems, the preparation of and distribution of financial reports, and administrative oversight, including:
- grant tracking;
- operational budget tracking;
- staff benefit coordination;
- client contracts;
- staff hourly tracking;
- payroll;
- accounts payable/receivables;
- reconciling cheques and prepping bills for payment;
- extension services, and sales.

Summer Camp Camping Program Staff
Work Hours:
- June 23-August 15th
- Monday to Thursday from 8am-5pm (overnights)
- Paid Fridays Off (with the exception of Aug. 8th)
- August 18th-22nd paid off

Some of the requirements for a successful candidate include:
- Reporting to a Summer Coordinator, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day facilitation and successful programming of the BGC Camping program. This position will also be responsible for the direct implementation and facilitation of all identified programs, BGC directives, and support in assurance of meeting all licensing requirements as directed by the organization.
- This position is an energetic staff to keep up with our camp attendees through exciting locations such as Drumheller, Banff, Calgary, and more! You will be working 8am on Mondays-5pm on Thursdays with a group of 14-17 kids and 3 other staff members. Each day will bring fun experiences like hiking, gondolas, hot springs, museums, zoos, and adventure Parks!
- A Program Staff represents BGC and will do their utmost to develop and maintain a positive relationship with any parents, community partners, and community members associated with the organization in any capacity. Program Staff will always represent BGC and its interests as an essential part of the programming team within the organization.
